Welcome to Download My Secrets. We provide a service that allows our clients (“publishers”) to share gated content (such as PDFs) via unique landing pages. By accessing our website or interacting with a client’s page powered by our service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

Client / Publisher – A customer who uses our service to host and share content.
Visitor – Anyone visiting our website.
End User – A person interacting with a client’s page powered by our service.
Personal Data – Any information relating to an identified or identifiable person.
We provide hosting, content delivery, and form processing for our clients’ gated content pages. We do not own or control the content our clients publish.
If you are a client:
You must comply with all applicable laws, including data protection laws.
You are responsible for the content you upload and the purposes for which you collect personal data.
If you are an end user:
You must provide accurate information when submitting forms on a client’s page.
You are responsible for reviewing the client’s privacy policy before submitting your data.
All intellectual property rights in our platform belong to us. Client content remains the property of the client.
You may not use our service to:
Distribute unlawful, harmful, or infringing content.
Interfere with or disrupt the service.
Collect personal data without a lawful basis.
No tracking: We do not collect personal data from visitors and do not use cookies or analytics.
Publisher emails only: If you email us to request publisher access, we process your email address and message solely to respond.
When you submit a form on a client’s page (e.g., to access a PDF or subscribe), your data is collected by the client and processed on our infrastructure.
Roles under GDPR:
Client (Data Controller): Determines the purposes and legal basis for processing your data.
Download My Secrets (Data Processor): Processes your data on the client’s instructions to provide the service.
Categories of data processed as processor:
Identification: Name.
Contact: Email address.
Form metadata: Timestamp and client area identifier.
Source of data: Directly from you via the form you submit on the client’s page.
Purposes (set by the client):
Access management (deliver requested content, confirm subscription, manage reader lists).
Communication (send updates or content you requested).
Legal basis (set by the client):
Typically consent (your checkbox/affirmative action) or contract (providing requested content/services).
Retention: We retain your data only as long as instructed by the client and then delete or return it. Clients may keep copies according to their own policies.
Sharing:
With the client (your data goes to them).
With our vetted sub processors (e.g., hosting or email delivery) under data processing agreements.
No sale of personal data.
International transfers: If sub processors are outside the EU/EEA, we use appropriate safeguards (e.g., Standard Contractual Clauses).
Exercising your rights: Please contact the relevant client (controller) to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to processing of your form data. We will support the client in responding to your request.
If you contact us directly (e.g., to request publisher access), we will use your email address and any other information you provide solely to respond to your inquiry.
Under the GDPR, you have the right to:

We implement technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.
